ALREKA is a band that started off with three friends who enjoy playing music together until their fathers came up with the idea of a band. As these friends (Rey, Alani, and Kalaya) got more and more excited about the idea, we started the band, adding friends and family while staying connected to God in the process. We will be singing our own songs that we write and covers of other songs by other artists. Thanks for the support!

Get to Know Me
Hello, everyone. I'm. Rehema, but you guys can call me Rey. Along with Alani and Kalaya, I'm an original member and "founder" of ALREKA. I have the pleasure of being the leader with Myah and the group's pianist. I'm pretty serious when it comes to the band, but I'm normally a laid-back and chill person if we ever get to meet (which we might get the chance to do). At Life Link Church, you can typically find me on stage singing, playing a random instrument, hanging out with friends outside, or in the tech booth doing quite literally anything.

Heyyy, I'm Kalaya! I'm the lead vocalist of the band, which basically means I get to make loud noises into a microphone while the rest of the band pretends to hear the same key I'm singing in. When I'm not belting it out on stage, I'm leading worship at Life Link Church- where thankfully, God doesn't mind if I miss a note or two. I like spending time noodling around my acoustic guitar, pretending I'm writing the next big hit (or at least a melody that doesn't sound like five other songs). I sing anywhere, literally. Much to the joy- and occasional regret- of my bandmates haha.

Heyo! My name is Alani, but you can call me AJ. I serve on the tech team at Life Link Church, and I'm part of our Student Movement band and teaching team. When I'm not behind the scenes running the camera or screens, you'll probably find me playing bass, singing, or hanging out with my friends. I’m a behind the scenes type of girl, but will occasionally show face when on stage. Hey! I'm Myah, and I have the role of being co-leader alongside Rey. I'm sort of like the mom of the group. I'm fun, crazy, and weird. I love to sing with all my heart and will comfort you whenever needed. I love hanging out with friends and family. If you ever see me, please cum up to me and say "Hi". At Life Link Church, I serve on the worship team on choir, which I've been doing for a while, but I love it. I love hugs and lots of love. I'm not the biggest talker, but if you ever need anything, I'm here for you (I'm like the "mother" of the group).

Hey everybody! My name is Ferrin! I have the amazing pleasure of being in ALREKA along with my close friends Rehema, Myah, Kalaya, and Alani. I am a part of Life Link’s worship team and have been on for about 6 months now. I love to sing which you will soon figure out once you get to know me. You will usually find me hanging out with friends and talking to new people as I usually am always talking to somebody. I am also part of Life Link’s kids little team. I have always had a love of being around kids which you will also soon know after hanging around me.

Hi! I'm Josh (The only guy... so far). I get the opportunity to sing and play electric guitar for ALREKA. I've been singing at Life Link Church for about a year now, and it has been amazing. Besides performing, I run all the tech stuff at Life Link. I really enjoy making sure everything works and helping service feel exciting and smooth. Whether I'm on stage or working behind the scenes, I always give my best and have fun doing it!
